When you create your BookBub account you’ll choose your preferred categories, which you can also update at any time on our website, here (you may need to sign in first): Category Preferences.
In general, you’ll just see deals from those categories in your BookBub deals emails, but there are a few cases where you might see deals outside those selected categories.
The Bestsellers category, for example, features deals across a wide range of genres and categories. If you’re subscribed to the Bestsellers category, you may see deals featured in this category that don’t match your other category selections.
If you have very few categories selected, you might also notice a section in your deals email titled “More Recent Deals” that features additional deals you might be interested in, some of which may be outside the categories you selected.
You might also see deals outside of your selected categories while browsing our website.
